Purpose of AWES:
- To intensify the cooperation amongst the shipyards of the national member associations of shipbuilders and shiprepairers in Europe;
- To promote the interests of the shipbuilding and shiprepair industry within Europe and to study any matters which the shipbuilding and shiprepairing industry of the Europe is faced with;
- Furthermore AWES shall participate in and/or promote any studies;
- As a general rule, to make any endeavour in order to maintain and promote the activity of the shipbuilding and shiprepair industry in the countries of the Europe.
